Uniseis
With the ever-increasing demands placed upon seismic software, the Research and Development Group are continually improving
existing processes and implementing new techniques. For example, the
MGIVAŽ Velocity Analysis package, GeoQube
(creates a matched pseudo 3D dataset from 2D data) and High Resolution Short Offset 3D.
UNISEIS software has been used to process data from most areas of the world and has proved to be a thoroughly reliable and
efficient processing system. As well as being used in a processing centre, UNISEIS is also used for on-board processing.
UNISEIS contains applications and techniques for land, marine and transition zone seismic data processing for 2D, 3D and 4D
projects. Niche development work is tailored to meet client requirements.
Areas of particular focus continue to include:
- treatment & preservation of amplitudes
- regularization of datasets
- multiple attenuation
- statics
- noise attenuation
- MGIVAŽ Velocity Analysis
- migrations
Many of these developments have lead to specialized workflows, unique to the industry e.g
GeoQube and
High Resolution Short Offset 3D.
